This Refund Policy explains when and how Foggy Froggy Networks issues refunds for its virtual private network (VPN) subscription services. We want every customer to be able to evaluate our service with confidence, which is why we back first-time purchases with a genuine 30-day money-back guarantee. At the same time, this Policy sets out clear boundaries that protect the service, its infrastructure, and the community of customers who rely on it. By purchasing any Foggy Froggy Networks subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to all paid subscription plans offered by Foggy Froggy Networks, including the SOLO, FAMILY, PRO, and CORPORATE plans, in all available billing cycles of one, three, six, and twelve months. It governs refunds of amounts actually paid to Foggy Froggy Networks through our storefront and its supported payment methods. It does not apply to third-party charges, such as fees imposed by your bank, card issuer, mobile carrier, or currency-conversion provider, none of which are collected or controlled by us. This Policy should be read together with our Subscription & Cancellation Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy, which are referenced throughout by name.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Every first-time purchase of a Foggy Froggy Networks subscription is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a full refund of your initial payment within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of purchase. The guarantee is designed to give new customers a meaningful, risk-free opportunity to test real-world performance on their own networks and devices, including connection speeds of up to 1 Gbps per connection, average latency of 30 to 50 ms, IPv6 readiness, DNS leak protection, and our server locations across 17 countries. The 30-day window begins on the date the payment is completed, not the date the service is first used.
3. Eligibility Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day money-back guarantee, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The purchase is your first subscription purchase with Foggy Froggy Networks. The guarantee applies once per customer, per household, and per payment instrument.
- The refund request is submitted by email within 30 calendar days of the original payment date.
- The account has not been suspended or terminated for a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
- The request is made by the account holder from the email address associated with the account, or with verifiable proof of purchase.
- The payment was made directly to Foggy Froggy Networks and not through an unauthorized reseller.
We may ask reasonable follow-up questions to verify ownership of the account and the payment, and we may decline requests where ownership cannot be verified.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
The following payments are not eligible for a refund, except where a refund is required by applicable law:
- Renewal payments outside the window. Automatic renewal charges are not covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee. Renewals may only be refunded at our discretion if the request is received within 72 hours of the renewal charge and the service was not materially used during that period.
- Acceptable Use Policy violations. Accounts suspended or terminated for violating the Acceptable Use Policy forfeit any right to a refund of the current billing period.
- Promotional and discounted pricing. Purchases made with promotional codes, limited-time discounts, bundle offers, or other reduced pricing are refundable only at our discretion, and any refund may be limited to the amount actually paid.
- Chargeback-initiated disputes. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us, the transaction is handled under Section 11 of this Policy and is no longer eligible for a voluntary refund.
- Repeat purchases. Second and subsequent subscription purchases by the same customer are not covered by the money-back guarantee.
- Unauthorized resale. Subscriptions purchased from parties not authorized by Foggy Froggy Networks are not eligible for refunds from us.
5. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted by email to support@foggyfroggynetworks.com. To help us process your request quickly, please include the following in your message:
- The email address associated with your Foggy Froggy Networks account;
- Your order number or transaction reference from the purchase confirmation;
- The date of the payment and the plan purchased (SOLO, FAMILY, PRO, or CORPORATE);
- The payment method used;
- A brief description of the reason for the request. This is optional, but it helps us improve the service.
We will acknowledge receipt of a complete refund request within two (2) business days and issue a decision within five (5) business days of acknowledgment. Requests missing key information may take longer while we verify the purchase.
6. Processing Timelines by Payment Method
Once a refund is approved, we initiate it promptly on our side. The time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider:
- Credit and debit cards: typically 5 to 10 business days after we issue the refund, depending on your card issuer.
- PayPal and similar digital wallets: typically 1 to 5 business days.
- Bank transfers: typically 5 to 14 business days, depending on the receiving bank and any intermediary institutions.
- Cryptocurrency payments: refunded in the same cryptocurrency at the market exchange value of the original payment at the time the refund is processed; network confirmation times vary.
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method. We cannot redirect refunds to a different card, wallet, or account, as doing so would create fraud risk for both parties.
7. Partial Refunds
Outside of the 30-day money-back guarantee, we may at our sole discretion offer a partial, pro-rated refund in exceptional circumstances, for example where we permanently discontinue a plan or materially reduce the scope of the service you purchased. Any partial refund is calculated from the date your eligible request is received, based on the unused whole months remaining in the billing period at the standard monthly rate of the applicable plan. Voluntary mid-term cancellations do not entitle you to a partial refund; as described in the Subscription & Cancellation Policy, cancellation stops future billing while service continues to the end of the paid period.
8. Service-Outage Credits Versus Refunds
Foggy Froggy Networks operates its infrastructure on AMD EPYC servers with NVMe SSD storage and ECC RAM, maintains fewer than 100 users per node, and targets 99.9%+ uptime with 24/7 infrastructure monitoring. If we fail to meet that availability standard in a given calendar month due to faults within our control, affected customers may request a service credit in the form of additional subscription days, applied to the current subscription. Service credits are the exclusive remedy for outages and degraded performance and are not convertible to cash refunds. Outages caused by your local network, your internet service provider, force majeure events, or scheduled maintenance announced in advance are excluded from credit eligibility.
9. Currency, Taxes, and Fees
All plan prices are listed and charged in United States dollars (USD). Refunds are issued in USD for the exact amount we received, less any taxes we are unable to recover under applicable law. If your payment was converted from another currency by your bank or payment provider, the refunded amount may differ from what you originally saw on your statement due to exchange-rate movement and conversion fees. Foggy Froggy Networks is not responsible for currency losses, conversion fees, intermediary bank fees, or cryptocurrency network fees incurred in connection with a payment or a refund.
10. Abuse of the Money-Back Guarantee
The 30-day money-back guarantee exists so that genuine customers can evaluate the service. We reserve the right to refuse a refund, and to refuse future service, where we identify abuse of the guarantee. Indicators of abuse include, without limitation: repeated purchase-and-refund cycles across accounts, payment instruments, or identities; creating multiple accounts to claim the guarantee more than once; consuming extreme volumes of traffic during the guarantee window in a manner inconsistent with evaluation; and requesting refunds for accounts involved in conduct prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy. Determinations of abuse are made based on technical and billing evidence and are final, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@foggyfroggynetworks.com. Nearly all billing concerns can be resolved faster through our support team than through a chargeback. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us, we may immediately suspend the associated account pending resolution, and the disputed transaction becomes ineligible for a voluntary refund. Where a chargeback is resolved in our favor, we may charge a reasonable administrative fee reflecting the dispute costs imposed on us and may require an alternative payment method before restoring service. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent termination of service.
12. Refunds Required by Law
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or state of residence. Where applicable law grants you a broader refund right than this Policy, the law prevails to the extent of the conflict. If you believe a statutory right applies to your purchase, please state the relevant jurisdiction in your refund request so that we can assess it correctly.
13. Changes to This Policy
Foggy Froggy Networks may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment methods, or legal obligations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be announced through the service or by email to the address on your account before they take effect. The version of this Policy in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy for future purchases and renewals.
